We would like to invite GPs, practice nurses, and practice staff to our upcoming Primary Sense Lunch & Learn Series. This session is designed to help you seamlessly integrate Primary Sense into your daily workflow.

Wentworth Healthcare has partnered with the Black Dog Institute to deliver two hour online (plus one hour pre-work) Suicide Prevention Coaching Sessions for Health Professionals who have completed either Advanced Training in Suicide Prevention (ATiSP) or the upcoming Talking About Suicide in General Practice (TASiGP) workshops.

Hawkesbury: Join us in person for a catered training dinner and learn about recognising the signs of sexual violence and child sexual abuse in a primary care setting, learn how to respond appropriately and know what referral pathways are. 

We are delivering workshops about the Initial Assessment and Referral-Decision Support Tool (IAR-DST) – A mental health initiative developed by the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care. 

Live Life Get Active is a health promotion charity that works in communities to improve health literacy and reduce the pressure on primary health services. They use their range of services to engage people in need and help them build a better quality of life.

This course introduces participants to some of the elements that contribute to cultural safety when working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities, specifically in the health and social service space. The course aims to provide targeted and practical information for health professionals.

The Department of Health and Aged Care (DoHAC) has funded a pilot initiative focused on improving the primary healthcare system’s response to Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence (DFSV). Wentworth Healthcare, provider of the Nepean Blue Mountains Primary Health Network (NBMPHN), Care and Connect program is designed to support primary care to recognise the sign's and make effective referrals for patients impacted by DFSV.

We invite Credentialled Diabetes Educators, Accredited Practising Dietitians or organisations employing these professionals to attend an information session about our upcoming opportunity to pilot a multidisciplinary team approach to managing type 2 diabetes in general practices in eastern Penrith.

Free event for GPs and mental health professional working within the Nepean Blue Mountains Region, RACGP CPD hours available for GPs attending the event. Dinner will be provided.
