The Department of Health and Aged Care (DoHAC) has funded a pilot initiative focused on improving the primary healthcare system’s response to Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence (DFSV). 

This training will share the latest information on non-fatal strangulation in the context of domestic, family and sexual violence, and sexual choking. Facilitators will explore the role healthcare providers play in identifying, screening and addressing the short- and long-term needs of women who experience strangulation.

Join us online and learn about recognising the signs of child sexual abuse in a primary care setting, learn how to respond appropriately and know what referral pathways are.
