We invite Credentialled Diabetes Educators, Accredited Practising Dietitians or organisations employing these professionals to attend an information session about our upcoming opportunity to pilot a multidisciplinary team approach to managing type 2 diabetes in general practices in eastern Penrith.

Join us in person for a catered training dinner and learn about recognising the signs of sexual violence and child sexual abuse in a primary care setting, learn how to respond appropriately and know what referral pathways are. 

The Department of Health and Aged Care (DoHAC) has funded a pilot initiative focused on improving the primary healthcare system’s response to Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence (DFSV). Wentworth Healthcare, provider of the Nepean Blue Mountains Primary Health Network (NBMPHN), Care and Connect program is designed to support primary care to recognise the sign's and make effective referrals for patients impacted by DFSV.

This course introduces participants to some of the elements that contribute to cultural safety when working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities, specifically in the health and social service space. The course aims to provide targeted and practical information for health professionals.

The Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Awareness course covers all aspects of resuscitation and basic life support. It is open to all healthcare professionals and health administration staff actively employed in our region.
