This session will explore what better and faster access to test results means for patient care.

·
Describe what better and faster access to
pathology and diagnostic imaging results means, including reasons behind these
updates and the national priorities that shaped them.
·
Apply updated knowledge of “share by default”
requirements in My Health Record, including which providers must comply, key
exceptions, considerations and actions prescribers need to take.
·
Identify patient resources to guide patients
in understanding their tests and results and explain how patients can access
and control who views their information in My Health Record.
