Overview

With the increased public awareness of ADHD in children and adults, there is a huge gap in provision of assessment and treatment. We recognise this and the role that the GP could play in ADHD management. 

The new ADHD Pathway expects that most patients diagnosed and treated by specialists will be referred back to their GP for ongoing ADHD management. 

This webinar is designed to provide the background knowledge need for GPs to: 

• Recognise presentations of ADHD at different life stages; collect information and refer patients to specialists; manage psychology and allied health referrals
• Accept transfer of their patients from specialists and continue the management of their patients’ ADHD in general practice.
