PENRITH
We would like to invite GPs, practice nurses, practice managers and allied health professionals to the launch of the Care and Connect – Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence (DFSV) and Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) Program at the Western Sydney Conference Centre (WSCC).
This evening event will include presentations on sexual violence and child sexual abuse within the context of primary care, as well as an expert panel discussion and question and answer forum.
Domestic, family and sexual violence is a major health issue in Australia, with GPs seeing more and more patients who are impacted. Patient consults can be complex, as they may require time to build trust for disclosure and navigating the broad referral pathways.
GPs, practice nurses, practice managers, allied health professionals, representatives from DFSV and CSA sectors.
Program subject to change
Registration is FREE but spaces are limited. Hot buffet dinner will be provided.
